SIMON TSINIS
Simon is a childhood friend of Diana Tulman, ICA Director, and was a major influence in her introduction to the world of chess. As a child, Ms. Tulman suffered a stunning defeat at the hands her childhood acquaintance that drove her to ensure that it would never happen again. The two have been friends ever since, and Simon has been a huge supporter of ICA. Simon possesses great skill in his ability to evaluate a student’s strength and weakness and to match them up with the instructor most able to guide the student to rapid improvement.
He interacts well with students of all ages and is skilled at guiding the most frustrated student to a clearer understanding of chess theory. During lessons, Simon manages to keep all of his students entertained and focused.
